Babylon — застосунок для перекладу повідомлень: клавіатура, меню «Поділитися», переклад фото й голосових та асистент. Ця політика пояснює, які дані обробляються, де і навіщо.
Облікові записи й реклама
Babylon не вимагає реєстрації, не показує рекламу, не використовує аналітику третіх сторін і не відстежує вас в інших застосунках чи на сайтах.
Рушії перекладу
Текст, який ви перекладаєте, обробляє рушій, обраний у Налаштуваннях:
- Apple (на пристрої) — рушій за замовчуванням. Переклад виконується на вашому iPhone і нікуди не надсилається.
- Локальна модель — мовна модель працює всередині застосунку на пристрої; текст не залишає iPhone.
- DeepL або Google Translate — текст надсилається до обраного сервісу з вашим власним ключем API і обробляється за правилами цього сервісу (DeepL, Google).
- Сервер Babylon (babylon.hosteam.pro) — наш власний сервер. Щоб ним користуватися, пристрій надсилає запит на доступ, і адміністратор сервера його схвалює.
Що отримує сервер Babylon
- Ідентифікатор пристрою — випадковий ID, який застосунок створює і зберігає у Keychain, а також модель пристрою, версію iOS і необов'язкову примітку до запиту на доступ. Це потрібно, щоб схвалювати, обмежувати або блокувати доступ.
- Журнал запитів — час, тип запиту, результат, тривалість, кількість символів, мовна пара та IP-адреса. Тексту повідомлень у журналі немає.
- Текст для перекладу — перекладається на сервері. Пара «оригінал → переклад» зберігається в персональній пам'яті асистента цього пристрою, щоб асистент розумів контекст ваших розмов.
- Голосові — аудіо розпізнається й перекладається на сервері, тимчасовий файл видаляється одразу після обробки.
- Фото — текст розпізнається на iPhone; на сервер надсилається лише розпізнаний текст, саме зображення нікуди не йде.
- Асистент — розмови й нотатки персональної пам'яті зберігаються в окремому контейнері вашого пристрою. Якщо ввімкнено пошук в інтернеті, пошуковий запит надсилається до DuckDuckGo.
Як довго зберігаються дані і як їх видалити
Розмови, нотатки й збережені переклади лежать на сервері, доки ви їх не видалите. Окрему розмову можна видалити в списку розмов. Усе одразу стирається в застосунку: «Асистент» → «Персональна пам'ять» → «Стерти всю пам'ять і розмови». Історія перекладів на iPhone очищується в «Переклад» → «Історія» → «Очистити» або разом із застосунком.
Дозволи
Камера потрібна лише щоб сфотографувати текст, мікрофон — щоб записати голосове. Клавіатура Babylon просить «Повний доступ» тільки для мережевого перекладу; без нього вона працює як звичайна клавіатура. Застосунок не читає ваші переписки: перекладається лише текст, який ви самі ввели, скопіювали або передали через «Поділитися».
Передача третім особам
Ми не продаємо й не передаємо ваші дані третім особам, крім сервісів, які ви обрали самі (DeepL, Google, пошук DuckDuckGo в асистенті).
Діти
Babylon не призначений для дітей до 13 років і свідомо не збирає їхні дані.

Privacy Policy
Babylon is a messaging translation app: a keyboard, a Share extension, photo and voice translation, and an assistant. This policy explains what data is processed, where and why.
Accounts and advertising
Babylon requires no sign-up, shows no ads, uses no third-party analytics and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Translation engines
The text you translate is processed by the engine selected in Settings:
- Apple (on-device) — the default engine. Translation happens on your iPhone and is not sent anywhere.
- Local model — a language model runs inside the app on your device; the text never leaves the iPhone.
- DeepL or Google Translate — the text is sent to the chosen service using your own API key and is processed under that service's terms (DeepL, Google).
- Babylon Server (babylon.hosteam.pro) — our own server. To use it, the device sends an access request that the server administrator approves.
What Babylon Server receives
- Device identifier — a random ID created by the app and stored in the Keychain, plus the device model, iOS version and an optional note on the access request. It is used to approve, limit or block access.
- Request log — time, request type, result, duration, character count, language pair and IP address. No message text is logged.
- Text to translate — translated on the server. The "original → translation" pair is kept in this device's personal assistant memory so the assistant understands the context of your conversations.
- Voice messages — audio is transcribed and translated on the server; the temporary file is deleted right after processing.
- Photos — text is recognized on the iPhone; only the recognized text is sent to the server, never the image.
- Assistant — conversations and personal memory notes are stored in a separate container for your device. If web search is on, the search query is sent to DuckDuckGo.
Retention and deletion
Conversations, notes and saved translations stay on the server until you delete them. Delete a single conversation from the conversation list, or erase everything at once in the app: Assistant → Personal memory → "Erase all memory and conversations". Translation history on the iPhone is cleared in Translate → History → Clear, or by deleting the app.
Permissions
The camera is used only to photograph text and the microphone only to record a voice message. The Babylon keyboard asks for Full Access only for network translation; without it, it works as a regular keyboard. The app does not read your chats: only text you type, copy or share with Babylon is translated.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except the services you choose yourself (DeepL, Google, DuckDuckGo search in the assistant).
Children
Babylon is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
